Fairtrade Foundation: The Climate Change Garden

Event is online

Summary information

During Fairtrade Fortnight, Fairtrade UK are asking you to ‘Choose the World You Want’ and use your voice to tell others about the challenges that farmers face from climate change. From coffee to crocuses, the way plants grow around the world is changing because of the climate crisis.

Join us in our virtual Climate Change Garden at 11am on Saturday 6 March, as the Permaculture Association's Chris Warburton Brown gives top tips growing climate-friendly plants at home.

Two Fairtrade tea producers will also be joining us, and will explain how they are taking on the huge challenges climate change poses them every day. Eco-chef and Fairtrade ambassador Tom Hunt will also share ideas on how to embrace root-to-fruit sustainable cooking. Sign up in advance to get the link.
