Network Meeting: Northern Real Farming Conference

Event is online

Summary information

The Northern Real Farming Conference brings together farmer networks in the North of England to share approaches, provide input to policy developments and strengthen networks. Sessions from our inaugural event last October are available here: https://www.northernrealfarming.org/schedule/

We are inviting formal/informal farmer networks in the North of England to let us know how you would like to be engaged in the NRFC, the priorities for your network and how you would like to be involved in the wider movement building for an agro-ecological farming vision.

We are hosting a network meeting for farmer networks in the North on 19 May, 11.30-1pm, and planning an online briefing session for Northern farmers in July. Sign up and indicate interest via the survey. (https://forms.gle/24Wi6WVu56njhv956)

Our aims are to amplify the voices of northern farmers in policy discussions, to connect better the northern networks to share practice and experiences, and to highlight and showcase examples from the North.

This work is being done as part of a dedicated funded project to link with networks in Northern England. However, we expect the NRFC in 2021 to also include Scottish policy and practice.
